I might have "offed a tendon" in my foot

First something unrelated: Expect the next deviation I submit to be a depiction of some part of the human body, probably the arm. Don't know how much time I can devote to those studies before next weekend though, since I have quite the important test to ace on the 24th.

Now back to the title:

... Yeah. Went to the hospital today to find that the most popular theory on why I can't move my right big toe is that I "offed" the tendon connecting said toe with its associated muscle.
I find this knowledge both funny and discomforting.

Something I definitely find funny though is what will happen if the MRI on Tuesday confirms the theory:

Then they'll open it up, stitch the supposed loose ends together and probably leave me with an unusable foot for up to two months followed by rehabilitation.

Let me run the important part of that by you again:
Rehabilitation. Of one big toe.
See why I find this funny? :'D

So what I thought I'd do about it was, I thought I'd pretend I was one of them deaf-mutes.
